Terms of Service

1. Who we are

The Nemesis service (the "Service") is operated by Adnan Kadric, a sole proprietor trading as Nemesis (the "seller", "we", "us", "our"), reachable at support@nemesisgoals.com. Nemesis is an entertainment product that delivers persona-driven messages ("taunts") to help users pursue self-chosen goals. By creating an account or paying for the Service, you agree to these Terms.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter a contract in your country. The Service is intended for entertainment and motivational use only.

3. The Service, in plain English

Nemesis generates fictional adversary messages using AI models, based on the persona, goal, and deadline you provide. The tone is intentionally provocative. Messages are not personal advice, not professional coaching, and not a substitute for mental-health care.

4. Subscriptions & billing

• Plans are monthly and auto-renew until you cancel: Petty Rival ($9/mo), Sworn Enemy ($24/mo), Arch Nemesis ($59/mo).
• Payments are processed by Paddle.com Market Ltd., the Merchant of Record. Your receipt, VAT/sales tax, and card statement will show Paddle.
• You can upgrade or downgrade at any time from your Account page. Changes take effect immediately and are prorated for the remainder of the current period.
• You can cancel at any time from your Account page. Access continues until the end of the current paid period; no partial refunds for unused time (see Refund Policy).
• If a renewal payment fails, we may retry the charge and pause the Service until it succeeds.

5. Your account

You are responsible for your credentials and for anything done through your account. Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service to target, harass, or defame a real person other than yourself;
• Set a "goal" that involves illegal activity or self-harm;
• Reverse-engineer, scrape, or resell the Service;
• Abuse the AI generation endpoints (e.g. automated bulk requests).

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate this section without refund.

7. Content & IP

The persona, taunt text, and other AI-generated output are provided for your personal, non-commercial use. Nemesis and its branding remain our property. You retain ownership of any goal or personal text you provide.

8. Wellbeing disclaimer

The Service is theatrical. If provocative messages are harmful to your mental health, discontinue use. If you are in crisis, contact your local emergency services or a qualified professional. Nemesis is not a therapist.

9. Warranties & liability

The Service is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

10. Changes

We may update these Terms. Material changes will be announced by email or in-app at least 14 days before they take effect. Continuing to use the Service after that constitutes acceptance.
